Antique Rogers Bros. Silverplate Floral Forks (Set of Four)

A set of four antique silverplate forks by Rogers Bros., dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
 
Each fork is richly ornamented with an intricate allover botanical pattern, with flowers and foliage extending nearly the full length of the handle. The softly aged silverplate and areas of wear give the set a wonderful sense of history, while the elaborate pattern brings an unexpected decorative element to the table. Substantial handfeel, and a beautiful sense of proportion in the elongated tongs.
