Vintage Handblown Grappa Bottle

A vintage handblown glass grappa bottle defined by its elongated neck and gently bulbous form, tapering into a delicate opening partially wrapped with its original seal.

Grappa, historically a humble spirit made from the remnants of winemaking, was once considered a drink of necessity — distilled by farmers and laborers as a way to preserve and make use of what remained after harvest. Over time, as its cultural significance grew, so too did the vessels that held it. Glass artisans began to reinterpret the bottle itself as an object of care and craft — elevating something once utilitarian into something intentional, even celebratory.

Equally suited for display or light use, though it shines most as a standalone sculptural object within a collected interior.
